<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set the optimal delay time (delay code) in a delay circuit which adjusts the setup and hold time of a data signal to be input, under actual operating conditions of a semiconductor device. <P>SOLUTION: A data signal ADD/CMD to be used as a target is input in the delay circuit 13 from a pad 11, the delay code CODET <2:0> of the delay circuit 13 is changed, and the delay time of a delay signal to be output from the delay circuit is changed. Then, the delayed signal is latched by a latch circuit 14, matching or mismatching between the delayed signal PA0DB and the latched data signal PA2B is determined, when it is determined that the signals match to each other; and the delay code CODET <2:0> is determined, on the basis of the determination result, and the delay circuit 13 is operated by the delay code, after determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
