METAL INK, METAL-CONTAINING FILM USING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal ink capable of producing a metal-containing film with firm adhesion to a substrate and a superior finished appearance such as a metallic luster.

SOLUTION: This metal ink includes at least: metal particles; a solvent; 0.5-20 pts.wt. of polyether on the basis of 100 pts.wt. of the metal particles; and 0.1-20 pts.wt. of an adhesion-imparting agent on the basis of 100 pts.wt. of the metal particles, wherein the total of the polyether and adhesion-imparting agent is 0.6-20.5 pts.wt. on the basis of 100 pts.wt. of the metal particles. Polyethylene oxide is preferred for the polyether, and polyester is preferred for the adhesion-imparting agent. The metal-containing film such as a decoration film, an electrode and a wiring pattern can be produced by printing or coating the metal ink on a substrate before heat-treating it at a temperature of≤200°C.
