PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope, having an objective lens movable in the vertical direction, capable of focusing with reference to the distance between the objective lens and a stage and the height of the objective lens. SOLUTION: The microscope includes a stage support having: a stage on which a sample is mounted; a condenser holder which can hold a condenser lens; and a condenser holder seat which fixes the stage and the condenser holder, to a base of a microscope frame.
