PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser pointer of a shape which is easy to handle by a user by attaining a dimension as small as possible, while maintaining a narrow shape within a permitted range as of today. SOLUTION: The laser pointer has mainly a casing 1, a laser irradiation part 2, an operating part 3 which accepts operation concerning irradiation of laser beams, a clip 5 which locks the laser pointer on a locking object such as a pocket, a board 6 being an electric circuit board which is built in the casing 1 and supports various circuits, and an electrode part 7 which can conduct an electrode from a dry cell K to the board 6 side. A coil electrode 72 which has a battery pressing portion 72a that is installed so as to press and contact one end side of the dry cell K and a board insertion portion 72b that is supported by the board 6 and can conduct electricity from the battery pressing portion 72a to the board 6 is applied.
