PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a pneumatic tire improving controllability and stability without deteriorating wear resistance. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 includes at least one sheet of carcass ply 15, 17, bead fillers 23, belts 13, a cord reinforcement layer 25 formed by covering textile cords with rubber and arranged between the bead fillers 23 and a body part or folding back parts of the carcass plies 15, 17, and side rubber sheet members 27 formed of a rubber material with a quality same with that of the bead fillers and arranged outside the folding back parts of the carcass plies 15, 17. In at least one sheet of the carcass plies 15, 17, the end parts of the folded back parts thereof are extended to the inside of both ends of the belts 13, the bead filler height H is 0.2-0.5 times of the tire cross-sectional height SH, and the overlapping length L in the tire radial direction of the lower end parts of the side rubber sheet members 27 and the upper ends of the bead fillers 23 is 10% or less of the bead filler height H.
