The invention relates to an aqueous dispersion comprising solid pesticide particles having a particle size of up to 10 µm and an amphiphile. The invention further relates to a method for producing said dispersion by contacting an active substance and an amphiphile. The invention also relates to a solid composition containing active substance particles having a particle size of up to 10 µm and an amphiphile, obtained by drying the aqueous dispersion. The invention further relates to the use of the dispersion or the solid composition for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and/or unwanted plant growth and/or unwanted infestation with insects and/or acarides and/or for controlling the growth of plants. The invention finally relates to seeds which are treated with the dispersion or the solid composition.
