The reversibly extendable bag comprises a longitudinal adjusting unit, which has a zipper (8). The zipper comprises zipper web halves (12,14) that are placed at the outer side of the bag wall (4). The zipper web halves have web ends (16,18). The zipper web halves are removed from a common output point (10) along its web at the outer side of the bag wall. An independent claim is also included for an extendable flexible tube, particularly an extendable foot bag.
