The touring ski binding comprises a ski boot for holding a shoe bearing axis (Q) running transverse to a ski longitudinal axis (M). A mounting hole arrangement has multiple mounting holes (14) for screw fastening of a base plate (12) at a ski (16). The distance (sv) of a front mounting hole (14v) from the shoe bearing axis, is more than the distance (sh) of a rear mounting holes (14h) from other shoe bearing axis (Q'). An independent claim is also included for a base plate for a touring ski binding.
