<p>PURPOSE: A design scheme for reducing stack effect at a vertical path in a high-rise building is provided to minimize stack effect at a vertical path in the winter season. CONSTITUTION: Air is supplied to the lower layer of a vertical path(82) and is discharged from its upper layer. Air discharged from the exhaust grill(70) of the upper layer is supplied to the supply grill(80) of the lower layer through a ventilator(55) and a duct(72), and thus stack effect in a high-rise building is reduced through the air circulation between the lower and upper layers. Pressure of the highest staircase(10) of the high-rise building is quantitatively designed using inner temperature, outer temperature, and the air volume and coefficient of the ventilator.</p> |
