摘要 <p>The method involves releasing a detection device comprising transmitting and receiving beacons (1) in a supposed immersed region of a source. Source detection information is received and recorded by each beacon by making signals from the source using hydrophones and emission at acoustic frequency lesser than emission frequency of the immersed source. Acoustic signals i.e. modulated signal, emitted by one of the beacons of the detection device is received by a sub-marine or floating receiving platform and exploitation of the signals to locate the immersed source. An independent claim is also included for a device for detection and localization of an acoustic emission source immersed by accident at large depth in a wide geographical region, comprising a beacon.</p>
