摘要 The freewheel gearing (21) lies in series with each clutch (22) which engages whenever the wheel drive shaft (13,14) overtakes the differential cage (10). The locking moment of the plate clutches can be set from outside, that of the clutch to the inside of the curve to be increased as a function of the centrifugal acceleration. The freewheel gearings may be arranged within the clutch between this and the drive shafts or again gearing (11) and clutches can be placed outside the housing (7), clutches to be joined to the cage via hollow shafts (20). Thus with both clutches out, the shaft (13) of the wheel starting to race seeks to turn faster than the cage thus switching the freewheel gears in to entrain the second friction plates but if the clutch remains out the wheel continues to race.
