<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a logon information management system allowing reduction of a burden on a user to the utmost when using a plurality of systems each needing user authentication. <P>SOLUTION: A client reads a PIN (Personal identification number) from an IC card recording the PIN and a card ID, and verifies it with a separately input PIN to perform PIN authentication. When succeeding in the PIN authentication, the client transmits the card ID to a management server, and the management server acquires a user ID corresponding to the card ID. The management server also acquires logon information (a logon ID, a password, and a domain name) associated with the user ID, and returns it to the client, and the client logs on a system that is a target by use of the logon information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
