<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor core in which deterioration in high frequency core loss properties is reduced even in the presence of compressive stress. <P>SOLUTION: The motor core is obtained by using a steel sheet in which a magnetostriction constant in a direction equivalent to a stator circumferential direction (e.g., a direction orthogonal to a rolling direction) is -0.1×10<SP>-7</SP>or below, and which has a componential composition comprising, by mass, >6.6 to 10% Si, ≤1.0% Al, 0.05 to 2% Mn, ≤0.005% S and ≤0.005% N or comprising 30 to 45% Ni, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities in such a manner that compressive stress in the core circumferential direction reaches ≥10 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
