PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily hold a gas tank, and efficiently and compactly store all kinds of components by setting a frame cross section small. SOLUTION: A gas tank supporting structure 10 for a vehicle includes a sub-frame 24 on which a gas tank 22 is mounted with the axial direction of the gas tank 22 aligned in the vehicle width direction of the vehicle body 14. The sub-frame 24 fixes the gas tank 22 in the front side of the gas tank 22 in the vehicle longitudinal direction, and is provided with a sub-frame side cross member 42 extending in the vehicle width direction.
