<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an overcurrent condition of an inverter circuit with low loss and high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An induction cooking device includes a rectifying circuit 12 for rectifying an AC power supply 11, a smoothing capacitor 13 for smoothing the output of the rectifying circuit 12, the inverter circuit 14 having semiconductor switches 17, 18 for converting the output of the smoothing capacitor 13 into a predetermined frequency, a control means 20 for controlling the semiconductor switches 17, 18 to be on/off, a voltage detection means 21 for detecting the saturation voltage of the semiconductor switch 18, and an overcurrent protecting means 22 for forcibly stopping the semiconductor switch 18 in accordance with an off signal for the semiconductor switch 18 output by the control means 20 and voltage detected by the voltage detection means 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
