VIBRATION DAMPING/SOUNDPROOF FLOOR COVER AND FLOOR STRUCTURE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor cover which provides effective vibration damping and soundproof effects to the entire part of a room by absorbing the vibration and noise generated by an impact on the floor cover and preventing an impact generated on a specific floor cover from being transmitted to the adjacent floor covers arranged in the vertical and lateral directions. SOLUTION: Impact damping members and sound absorbing members are alternately disposed and adhered to the rear surface of a substrate. High-specific gravity sound shielding/vibration damping members which are generally similar to and larger in size than the substrate are stuck and laminated on the front surface of the substrate through a vibration damping viscoelastic layer while being shifted in the lateral direction. Since specified gaps are secured between the adjacent substrates when the floor covers are paved, vibration is prevented from propagating between the adjacent substrates. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
