PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve conductivity of a transparent conductor which is useful as a translucent electromagnetic wave shield film of various display devices, and a transparent electrode and a transparent surface heating element or the like of various electronic devices. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the transparent conductor 16 having a conductive layer 14 containing a plurality of metal nano-wires on a substrate 12 includes a coating process in which metal nano-wire dispersion 166 containing a plurality of metal nano-wires in a liquid is coated on the substrate 12, a process in which a metal nano-wire network layer 180 is formed on the substrate 12 by removing the liquid in the metal nano-wire dispersion 166, and a pressurizing process in which the metal nano-wire network layer 180 is pressure-treated using a lower roller 186 and an upper roller 187.
