PURPOSE: A device for testing the durability of seal is provided to enable the durability test of a pair of seals to be performed in the same condition to the heat radiating condition of the inner parts of a travel motor reducer. CONSTITUTION: A device for testing the durability of seal comprises a cover(22), a fixed jig(33), a rotating jig(31), a motor(41), an oil circulating unit(70), an oil-leakage detecting camera, and a controller(80). The cover forms a chamber(C), in which the durability test of seal can be performed. The fixed jig is arranged in the chamber and one of a pair of seals is mounted on the fixed jig. The rotation jig is arranged in the chamber. The other one of the seals is mounted to be able to make tight contact with the seal on the fixed jig. The motor supplies the torque to the rotating jig. The oil-circulating unit circulates oil with the fixed jig. The oil-leakage detecting camera detects oil leaked between the seals as an image signal.
