<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen for a projector which displays an image visible even in a light place. <P>SOLUTION: The screen for the projector includes: a polarizing member 6 which transmits light in a prescribed polarization direction; a first 1/4 phase difference member 8 which changes the light transmitted through the polarizing member 6 from linearly polarized light to circularly polarized light; a wavelength selection filter 10 which transmits light in a prescribed wavelength region and reflects light in a wavelength region other than the prescribed wavelength region, out of the light changed to the circularly polarized light by the first 1/4 phase difference member 8, thereby performing wavelength selection; a second 1/4 phase difference member 12 which changes the light transmitted through the wavelength selection filter 10 from the circularly polarized light to linearly polarized light; and a reflection member 14 which reflects the light changed to the linearly polarized light by the second 1/4 phase difference member 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
