PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely guide a user to a destination having an unregistered address. SOLUTION: A navigation system includes a building information providing means 3, provided in a building for providing to the outside, attribute information of the building including at least information showing an address and a position of the building; a peripheral information providing means 3, provided in the building for providing to the outside, peripheral information, containing at least the information showing the address and the position of the building, in a prescribed range existing in the periphery of the building; and a navigation device 1, including a map data holding means for holding map data, a present location deducing means for deducing present place information, an attribute information acquisition means for acquiring the attribute information from the building information providing means, a peripheral information acquisition means for acquiring the peripheral information from the peripheral information providing means, and a navigation means for providing guide information for guiding the user to the destination, based on the map data, the present place, the attribute information and the peripheral information.
