PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching hub capable of establishing synchronization among a plurality of FDBs, and to provide a method of synchronizing an FDB. SOLUTION: This switching hub 1 includes a plurality of line cards each having a plurality of ports, and a frame relay path 40 for relaying a frame among the plurality of line cards, wherein each of the plurality of line cards includes: an FDB 110 for storing at least a MAC address as a registration content; a learning frame generation portion for generating a learning frame including a part of information included in the frame when the registration content stored in the FDB 110 is changed; a transmission rate control portion for controlling a transmission rate of the learning frame to the frame relay path 40 to transmit the learning frame to another line card; and a learning frame learning portion for changing the registration content of the FDB 110 based on the learning frame received from the other line card via the frame relay path 40.
