PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus more accurately recognizing the elasticity of living tissue than ever. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: an elastic image processing part 5 having a physical amount calculating part for calculating the physical amount on the elasticity of each part of the living tissue based on two temporary different echo signals on the same sound ray acquired by transmission/receiving of ultrasonic waves to the living tissue; a display part 7 displaying the elastic image created based on the physical amount; a display control part 6 for controlling the display of the elastic image in the display part 7; a physical amount averaging part 8 for calculating the average of the physical amount for each frame; and a ratio calculating part 9 for calculating the ratio of the value calculated by the physical amount averaging part 8 to a preset average of the physical amount. The display control part 6 does not display the elastic image of an error frame which is determined as not satisfying a prescribed criterion based on the result of comparison by the ratio calculating part 9.
