PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration for obtaining an image subjected to other different color reproduction operations from a color-adjusted image obtained through a color adjusting operation not via a RAW image. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes an imager for capturing an image of a subject, an image processor, a memory for storing color conversion information therein, and an image file generator. The image processor subjects an image captured by the imager to color reproduction operation to generate a color-reproduced image. The color conversion information in the memory indicates a conversion format between apparatus-independent first color information on reference color and apparatus-independent second color information for use in the color reproduction operation of the image processor.
