PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination medicine containing agomelatine or N-[2-(7-methoxy-1-naphthyl)ethyl]acetamide combined with a noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor. SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition comprising a containing agomelatine, hydrates, crystalline forms, or addition salts thereof with a pharmaceutically acceptable acid or base, and a noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor as active ingredients singly or in combination with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. The composition is useful for the treatment of major depression, seasonal affective disorder, more specifically for the treatment of resistant depression, and the treatment of psychiatric co-morbidity associated with mood disorder such as anxiety, panic, and stress, sleep disorders.
