PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater capable of preventing a power source cord from twisting around a connecting portion between a body case and a base. SOLUTION: A first projecting annular part 15 formed and bored to have a ring shape and having a diameter which is the same as a dimension of the lateral width of the body case 3 and a second projecting annular part 16 having a diameter smaller than that of the first projecting annular part 15 and formed to have a ring shape are formed on the upper face of the base 4 to which the body case 3 including a heater 2 is connected or the bottom part of the body case 3. Due to this configuration, even if the power source cord 18 attempts to enter into a clearance of the connecting portion between the body case 3 and the base 4, this entry is prevented since the power source cord 18 is made to abut on the first projecting annular part 15 on the outer peripheral side. If the power source cord 18 attempts to further enter into the clearance, the power source cord 18 is held in a clearance 17 between the first projecting annular part 15 and the second projecting annular part 16, and thus, twisting of the power source cord 18 around the connecting portion between the body case 3 and the base 4 can be prevented.
