<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The apparatus has a housing (1) provided with a liquid tank (4) and liquid supply units that include a vaporizing chamber in thermal contact with a shielded resistor. The vaporizing chamber communicates with a distribution orifice (12) distributing steam in a direction of a hair lock. A steam generator is supplied with liquid i.e. water, by an electrical pump of the supply units to produce steam flow, which is comprised between 10 to 60 gram per minute. An adjustment device adjusts liquid flow sent towards the steam generator. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Portable apparatus for treating hair with steam. The portable device presents the steam exit near the steam generator of the housing, thus eliminating condensation phenomenon, and offering flexibility in handling the device, while simplifying construction of the device. The device carries out testing on the hair lock at natural state or on hair lock coated with cosmetics with the help of the steam flow comprised between 10 to 60 gram per minute, thus permitting treatment to be visible on the hair lock to offer remarkable appearance on the hair in terms of shine and color in a homogeneous manner.
