PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application layer gateway (ALG) for IP networks using IP addresses different from each other.

SOLUTION: An application layer gateway (ALG) includes: a message receiving section for confirming a transmission subject and a method of a received SIP message; a message translating section for performing NAT translation on media reception address information and real-time control protocol (RTCP) reception address information of the SIP message on the basis of confirmed contents and adding its own address information to a routing path of the SIP message; and a message transmitting section for transmitting the SIP message translated by the message translating section to the next routing path of the SIP message.
