PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fuel tank, inexpensively constructed, and suppressing the deterioration of the valve re-opening property and the valve-closing properety of a breather line caused by the adhesion of fuel. SOLUTION: A valve mechanism 20 installed on an upper surface 14T of a fuel tank body 14 is formed with a communication hole 44, above which the breather line 36 is constructed. In a normal condition, gas in the fuel tank body 14 flows out through the breather line 36, permitting fueling. When a float 40 goes up due to fueling into the fuel tank body 14 and causes a pressing pin 54 to press a flexible sheet member 56, a flexible sheet body 58 deforms with a contact portion to a middle rib 72 as a deformation origin, and comes into contact with an outside rib 70, to block the breather line 36.
