PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a torque converter with a drive plate with high axial precision. SOLUTION: The drive plate 20 is connected to the torque converter through a boss member 15 welded to a front cover 12, and the boss member 15 includes a bolt hole 16 in a rotating shaft direction of the torque converter, and a boss protrusion part 17 surrounding the bolt hole 16 and protruding to the drive plate 20. The boss protrusion part 17 is formed in such a manner of matching with a through-hole 26 in a position matching the through-hole 26 by cutting a surface on the drive plate 20 side of a member for a boss after welding the member for the boss to a surface confronting the drive plate 20 of the front cover 12, and the drive plate 20 is fastened between a head part 34a of a bolt 34 screwed into the bolt hole 16 exposed in the through-hole 26 and a surface 15a of the boss member 15 and is connected to the boss member 15 when the boss protrusion part 17 is fitted in the through-hole 26 and the drive plate 20 is attached to the front cover 12.
