PURPOSE: A slab scarfing machine is provided to improve work stability and reduce manpower since it is not unnecessary for an operator to perform a scarfing work using a manual scarfing torch. CONSTITUTION: A slab scarfing machine comprises a rectangular frame(10), a rail, and a scarfing torch(30). The front and rear surfaces of the rectangular frame are opened. The rail is installed on the lower part of the frame. The scarfing torch is moved on the top of the rail. The scarfing torch comprises multiple scarfing blocks(31). The hypotenuse of the scarfing blocks is formed into a triangular shape to face the side of the slab. The scarfing block is formed with a spray hole for spraying source gas and oxygen gas. The spray hole connects to a gas chamber installed inside the body of the scarfing torch.
