<p>Disclosed is a master cylinder that efficaciously reduces the contact pressure area of float valve bodies when the valve bodies are seated, satisfactorily maintains the sealing function of sealing parts thereof, and avoids increases in the quantity of man-hours required for assembly thereof. Sealing parts (23, 24) are mounted fluid-tight upon a tandem master cylinder (4), the float valve bodies (26a) are housed to be capable of vertical movement within nipple parts (6b2, 6c2) for master cylinder connection, which form a fluid path between a reserve tank and the tandem master cylinder (4), and valve seats (26b), which are capable of seating the float valve bodies (26a), are arranged within the nipple parts (6b2, 6c2) for master cylinder connection.</p> |
