The cooling device can be fitted to existing installations without compromising the development thereof. It consists in using heat pipes (12) partially embedded in the casing (10) of the apparatus. This embedded part (12A) of the heat pipe (12) entering the casing (10) has an electrical insulation sleeve (14) which is a good heat conductor.
