<p>The utility model relates to the field of protecting oil and gas extraction equipment from corrosion, deposits and the action of aggressive media, and is used in flexible pump rods which are constructed from steel cable, rope or bar and are intended for transmitting a reciprocating movement from a drive to the pump. It is proposed to use a polymer material as the protective coating for the flexible pump rods, said polymer material being selected from the following series: polyurethane elastomer, thermoplastic polyurethane, or polyurea, and having low heat conductivity, an elasticity (deformation limit at breakage) of not less than 200%, abrasion resistance (scraper H.22) of not less than 8, an operating temperature of from -75°C to +120°C, and high chemical resistance. Furthermore, in order to ensure the above-mentioned characteristics, the polyurethane elastomer and polyurea must contain a minimum of 30% of dry residue of a urethane and urea binder, respectively. The technical result is an increase in the operating characteristics of the protective coating for flexible pump rods.</p> |
