The invention relates to a retina projection device producing an informative vision image on a retina (7) of a user by the scanning of a light beam (F) modulated in intensity. An intermediate image is formed inside the device in an intermediate light beam focusing surface (17). The device incorporates a grid of optical fibres (21) having an admission face (22) merged with the intermediate focusing surface. In this way, the retina image is sharp even if the intermediate focusing surface is curved. According to a characteristic of the invention, the admission face of the grid of optical fibres is depolished so that the informative vision image can be wider with a vignetting that remains low.
