Carbon (C) black has organic groups with substituted C-C single or double bonds, bound to the C black by the 2 C atoms of the C-C single or double bond and at least one of these C atoms has activating substituent(s). An Independent claim is also included for the production of the C black by reacting C black with organic compounds containing C-C double or triple bonds activated by substituent(s).
