PURPOSE: A water-proof structure for an axle housing of a butterfly valve is provided to prevent the contamination of a fluid caused by the corrosion of an axle housing. CONSTITUTION: A water-proof structure for an axle housing of a butterfly valve comprises a bush(10) which is respectively formed with an angled protrusion and threads on the outer surfaces thereof opposite to each other and grooves on the inner surface thereof, a sealing member(21) which has elasticity and is inserted in a recessed part formed between the angled protrusion and the axle insertion part of an axle housing(60) of a butterfly valve body(30), a nut(23) which fixes the bush to the valve body so that the angled protrusion of the bush compresses the sealing member, and an O-ring(22) which is inserted in the grooves of the bush. |
