PURPOSE: A solar power generating system for a vehicle and a power converting circuit for the same is provided to stably control the solar power generating system for a vehicle by improving response speed of the solar power generating system. CONSTITUTION: A solar power generating system for a vehicle includes a solar cell module, a controller, and a power conversion unit(50). The solar module changes light energy to electrical energy. The controller computes the maximum power point based on the output voltage and current of the solar module and to determine the reference voltage of the solar module to enable the operation point of the solar module to track the maximum power point. The power conversion unit converts power supplied to the solar module and applies it to a load. The power conversion unit comprises a switching unit(51), a driver(53), and a comparison unit(55).
