PURPOSE: A display device and a semiconductor device are provided to implement high quality image by controlling a light source according to the sensitivity of a photosensor. CONSTITUTION: In a display device and a semiconductor device, a light source projects light to an object. A photosensor(109) detects light reflected from the object. A controller(104) controls the luminance of the light. An A/D converter(102) changes the data of the objects into a digital signal. A bit count measuring unit(103) counts the bit count number of each bit of the digital signal. |
