Heat exchanger

The exchanger has a pipe fluid-conductively connected with a collecting area (5) and designed as a flat pipe. An inlet connecting piece (10) and an outlet connecting piece (12) are provided with an inlet axle and an outlet axle, respectively. A collecting area plane is formed at an end of another collecting area (6) that is aligned parallel to transverse direction. The inlet connecting piece and the outlet connecting piece are connected to the collecting areas by an inlet adapter piece (23a) and an outlet adapter piece (23b), respectively. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger.
