PURPOSE: An RFID based reader is provided to enable a short distance recognition and minimize the recognition error using a parabolic shape reflector and an array antenna. CONSTITUTION: A gate frame is installed in both sides of an entrance. An array antenna(150) is arranged in the gate frame as a parabolic form and receives tag information from an RFID tag. An RFID reader(170) controls the operation of the arrays antenna and changes the tag information into a tag data. A parabolic shape reflector(130) is perpendicularly installed in the inside of the gate frame. The array antenna is arranged in the reflector.
