PURPOSE: A method for managing an image data and a sound data at a digital video recorder at the same time is provided to manage the stored data by storing an image data and sound corresponding to an interval recognizing a specific sound. CONSTITUTION: A DVR(Digital Video Recorder) receives sound and image data through a video camera. If the sound is the meaningful sound, the recorder extracts the sound. The recorder stores a location of an image data corresponding to which a meaningful sound is inputted. The recorder searches the image data corresponding to the stored sound. The recorder driver the sound and the image corresponding to the search result.
