PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy-efficient drying machine which is easy to install, whose installation and running costs are inexpensive, and in which almost all of VOC (volatile organic compounds) can be collected. SOLUTION: A typical configuration of the drying machine 100 includes: a heater 120 for heating the air; a drying chamber 130 for evaporating a solvent contained in the clothes by the heated air; a cooler 140 for cooling the air to condense the solvent; a solvent collector 150 for collecting the solvent condensed in the cooler; a circulation duct 180 for circulating the air among the heater, the drying chamber, and the cooler in this order; and a heat pump for supplying the heater with heating and supplying the cooler with cooling by transferring the heat from the cooler to the heater.
