PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water pump bearing for suppressing the axial push of a rolling element against the deformed rolling surface of an outer ring when pressed in. SOLUTION: The water pump bearing 1 includes the outer ring 3 pressed into a bearing assembling cylinder 7 of a pump housing 6, and having an outside rolling surface 3a formed on the inner peripheral face, the cylindrical rolling element 4 rollingly mounted between an inside rolling surface 2a formed on the outer peripheral face of a shaft 2 arranged inside the outer ring 3 and the outside rolling surface 3a of the outer ring 3, and a front side sealing member 13 for sealing a space between the outer ring 3 and the shaft 2. Before pressed into the bearing assembling cylinder 7, the outer ring 3 is formed so that the inner diameter of the outside rolling surface 3a is gradually larger from the opening end side toward the bearing pressing-in direction.
