<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a zirconia ceramic coping cap with excellent shape accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: Before or after a zirconia ceramic coping cap or block in a half-sintered or sintered condition is processed into a predetermined shape, the coping cap or the block is irradiated with laser having wavelength in the visible or near infrared region, a peak output of≥16 kW, and pulse width of≤30 nsec. By doing so, at least a part of the surface of the half-sintered zirconia ceramic is sintered or simultaneously processed into a predetermined shape or the sintered zirconia ceramic is processed into a predetermined shape, and the coping cap is acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
