PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable for facilitating laying working even when measuring points are numerous, and to provide a wind velocity sensor and a system for measuring a wind velocity using the optical fiber cable. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable 10 is used which has an optical fiber 11, a low resistant metal wire 12 and a high resistant metal wire 13 arranged in parallel to the optical fiber 11 by sandwiching the optical fiber 11, and an insulation coating material for coating them. The optical fiber cable is provided with notches on both sides of a region A regarded as the wind velocity sensor 19 to cut the low resistant metal wire 12 and the high resistant metal wire 13, and uses a splicing fitting 15 or the like to electrically connect the low resistant metal wire 12 of the outside of the region A and the high resistant metal wire 13 of the inside of the region A.
