PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fairing including a seal reducing the leakage of a fluid. SOLUTION: The fairing 40 includes a surface 42 capable of bounding the fluid on the surface; and the seal 50 located at the edge portion 41 of the fairing. The seal has at least one support flange 54 and a contact face 52 capable of engaging with an adjacent component to reduce the leakage of the fluid. A stator assembly includes: a vane; a first fairing having a first seal 61; and a second fairing having a second seal 62.
