<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter which remedies a color shift phenomenon caused by increase in a viewing angle, and to provide a display device including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The optical filter for the display device is to be provided on the front side of a display panel of the display device, and includes a layered background layer and a color shift reducing pattern formed on the background layer with a predetermined thickness, wherein the color shift reducing pattern has a plurality of divided regions, and in at least two regions of the plurality of divided regions, at least one of a light absorption coefficient and a light diffusion coefficient is different from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
