Perylene compounds (A) are new. Perylene compounds (A) of formulae (I) and (II) are new. Independent claims are included for: (1) a micellar solution comprising (A) in aqueous phase, where the micelle former is 1-dodecyl sulfate, 1-dodecylsulfonate, Nekal(RTM: 2,3-Dimethylnaphthalen-4-sulfonate) or Bomol 4N(RTM: Maleated linseed oil); and (2) producing nanomicellar comprising preparing a gel from the micelle former, distributing the gel in water under the simultaneous action of ultrasound.
