<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side appliance position controller of a traction treatment device which is easy to transfer, is capable of coping with an individual difference well and is capable of performing traction treatment in a relaxed state. <P>SOLUTION: The traction treatment device 1 is provided with the side appliance position controller 46 including: a base part 4 to which a side appliance 8 is attached and which is turnably attached to the back surface of an upper body seat part 13; a base part driving part 40 for turning the base part 4; a control part 24 for controlling the base part driving part 40; and a guide part 47 for supporting the base part 4 and guiding and limiting the turning of the base part 4.
