PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens which can be evaluated as a spherical lens from a measurement result of a shape. SOLUTION: The lens 10 is provided with an aspheric surface area based on a predetermined aspheric coefficient A<SB>i</SB>in advance, with respect to a lens 10s. The aspheric surface area provides an error with respect to the shape of the lens 10s, which is smaller than 0.05μm in an optical surface 3, and provides an error with respect to the shape of the lens 10s, which is greater than 0.5μm in a peripheral portion 4.
